Injured!
While slicing an onion yesterday, I missed and got a little bit of the tip of my thumb. This is probably the worst injury I've ever suffered, funnily enough. I should be all better in a couple of weeks. If you don't want to see the injury, don't follow this link: http://vrg3.yi.org/~hunter/thumb.jpg |

Happy Holi!
When I left my apartment building this morning I noticed how nice the weather was. It should have reminded me. I had forgotten it was Holi until I received happy Holi wishes from family members by email. Happy Holi! Maybe if the weather is still nice when I'm out of 418 section I can start cleaning my car. :) |

Bea and I made a cake, and it was awesome! We made the red velvet cake that Adam and I made for her birthday (but using her new pans this time, which helped quite a bit) and then she went to town decorating it with flowers and stuff. And now that I've tasted some... mM MMM! |

I had a frighteningly violent dream last night. I can't remember all of it, but it did involve people I know, my wielding a very large blade machete serrated with a double-D edge, acts of torture, and crawling upside-down across a ceiling. Current Mood: sad |

You know, when you type the word friend over and over and over again, it starts to look misspelled no matter what. |

An AI Koan "A novice was trying to fix a broken Lisp machine by turning the power off and on.
Knight, seeing what the student was doing, spoke sternly: 'You cannot fix a machine by just power-cycling it with no understanding of what is going wrong.'
Knight turned the machine off and on.
The machine worked."
